The world's largest music streaming service, Spotify, plans to add NFTs and blockchain technology to its business. As per two recent job postings, the company is looking to hire a senior backend engineer and a senior manager to work on projects related to Web3. Earlier, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg also said that his firm plans to add NFTs to Instagram.

Indian startup Mingout, which provides dating and matchmaking services, recently hosted the world's first Metaverse date on Moon. Mingout shared a video of the date, wherein the couple's avatars can be seen wearing spacesuits. In the last year, they conducted over 1,000-plus dates on their app, with this being the first in Metaverse.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg's sister Randi Zuckerberg has released a parody video of Adele's famous song "Hello," featuring lyrics about cryptocurrencies and DeFi (decentralized finance). "Community should be fun, crypto should be welcoming, not intimidating," she tweeted. Crypto firm XBTO is set to fund its first bitcoin-backed mortgage in Miami, US, Blockworks reported. Borrowers would be able to tap financing worth up to 90% of their mortgage with a 10% Bitcoin downpayment on a 15 or 30-year mortgage, the report said. XBTO's initial offering will be limited to Florida, with mortgages valued at over $1 million.
